2026 Fiddlesticks Quilt Shop Block of the Month
Our 2026 Fiddlesticks Quilt Shop Block of the Month has two options to choose from. A romantic cottage sampler and a sampler full of stars. (Scroll for more pictures of each quilt)
This is a physical Class, located in our shop in Vancouver, Washington. The class is a Lecture/Demo style, so you do not need to bring anything except a pencil and maybe a friend! Fabric is not included in this BOM program. Handouts for the patterns will be given along with a demonstration for piecing the blocks, including tips and tricks to make your piecing more enjoyable!
Cost:
The class is $30.00 + Tax for the entire year.

9:00, 10:30, 12:00, 1:30 & 3:00. You may choose the class time that works best for you each month, however the two morning classes are the most heavily attended.
About the Quilts:
No fabrics will be given for this class, and we strongly encourage you to shop your stash, as it’s full of fabric you already love! But….. If you want new fabrics, well, Fiddlesticks Quilt Shop is full of beautiful options! This is an opportunity to make the quilt your own, so everyone’s is different and personal to them, whether you like civil war fabric, Christmas fabric, bright and happy or Batiks…. It’s up to you! Yardage requirements will be given at the first class.
These quilts are original designs by Cheran Bee of Cottage Lane Quilts and Fiddlesticks Quilt Shop. There will be two pattern themes for you to choose from and everyone will get all of the patterns for both quilts, so you may blend them together as you wish. Both quilts are totally pieced, there is no applique!
The themes for this years sampler quilt(s) are: English Cottage Sampler and Starry Night Sampler. The English Cottage Sampler features a large cottage center block, heavily influenced by “Rose Hill Cottage” from the movie “The Holiday” along with flowers and assorted sampler blocks. The Starry Night sampler will feature a beautiful large center star block, surrounded by a selection of smaller star blocks.
Prizes:
And…… The Cherry-on-Top! Each class has a drawing for a gift certificate and everyone who completes their quilt top for Show-and-Tell at the December party is entered to win one of two $100.00 Gift certificates good towards long arming their quilt!
