2026 Fiddlesticks Quilt Shop Block of the Month
Our 2026 Fiddlesticks Quilt Shop Block of the Month sampler quilts are full of fun design options for you to make block choices along the way, with some block surprises in store as the year goes along .
This is a physical Class, located in our shop in Vancouver, Washington. The class is a Lecture/Demo style, so you do not need to bring anything except a pencil and maybe a friend! Handouts for the patterns will be given along with a demonstration for piecing the blocks, including tips and tricks to make your piecing more enjoyable!
No fabrics will be given for this class, and we strongly encourage you to shop your stash, as it’s full of fabric you already love! But….. If you want new fabrics, well, Fiddlesticks Quilt Shop is full of beautiful options! This is an opportunity to make the quilt your own, so everyone’s is different and personal to them, whether you like civil war fabric, Christmas fabric, bright and happy or Batiks…. It’s up to you! Yardage requirements will be sent starting Dec 17th, after enrollment.
These quilts are original designs by Cheran Bee of Cottage Lane Quilts and Fiddlesticks Quilt Shop. There will be two pattern themes for you to choose from and everyone will get all of the patterns for both quilts, so you may blend them together as you wish.
The themes for this years quilt(s) are: English Cottage Sampler and Starry Night Sampler. The English Cottage Sampler features a large cottage center block, heavily influenced by “Rose Hill Cottage” from the movie “The Holiday” along with flowers and assorted sampler blocks. The Starry Night sampler will feature a beautiful large center star block, surrounded by a selection of star blocks.
Inspiration drawings are shown on the handout pictured and include some mystery block and blank areas that will be filled in as we go along the year. All of the dates and times are listed on the handout sheet. You may come to any class time throughout the day, although the 9:00am and 10:30am classes are the most heavily attended.
There will be a make-up session for late enrollments or those that cannot make the January 3rd first class on January 24th, 2026
The class is $30.00 + Tax
